Now in its fourth year, the scheme has connected more than 200 people across the sector, pairing mentors and mentees who would never otherwise have met.
We believe in the power of networks to build confidence and open doors. The scheme creates the opportunity for people across the industry to connect, share their experience and support one another, at a time when many are facing an increasingly uncertain environment for LGBTQ+ inclusion, both in workplaces and more broadly.
The benefit runs in both directions. Mentees gain structured support, industry insight and a wider professional network. Mentors gain fresh perspective, sharper listening and a stake in who comes through next.
Tell us about your background, what you want from the year ahead, and whether you would like to mentor, be mentored, or both.
Pairings are made on goals, experience, industry crossover and general fit, deliberately across organisations rather than within them.
Both of you receive guidance on how to set up, what to cover and how to get the most from the pairing. 12 months, at a pace that suits you.
We are on hand throughout. If a pairing is not working, tell us and we will find a better fit.
Anyone LGBTQ+ working in communications, at any level and in any discipline: public affairs, PR, internal comms, public policy, agency or in-house. You do not need previous mentoring experience to be a mentor, and you do not need to be junior to be a mentee. Plenty of people sign up as both.
Applications for 2026/7 are open now and close at the end of September.
Open to both mentors and mentees. Applications close at the end of September.
